The pump has an eccentric cam (2) supported on a drive shaft (1). A lever-like force transmission part (4) is held at a preset distance to a shaft longitudinal axis (A) over a pivot joint (5). The force transmission part is fixed at the cam, such that the rotation of the cam causes the pivoting of the force transmission part around a pivot joint rotation axis (D). An operating piston (3) of the pump element lies at the force transmission part and the pivot joint rotation axis is aligned parallel to the shaft longitudinal axis, during the pivoting of the force transmission part.
