<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device which has a user-friendly dual port memory in a simple configuration, and a memory macro thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The semiconductor device and the memory macro have a memory circuit which has an input and output port, and an arbitration circuit which has a first port that performs input or output operation in response to a first timing signal and a second port that performs input or output operation in response to a second timing signal which is asynchronous with the first timing signal. The memory circuit outputs a memory operation end signal to the arbitration circuit. When the memory circuit is not in operation , the arbitration circuit allows memory access to the memory circuit in response to the first or second timing signal of the first or second port, and, when the memory circuit is in operation, the arbitration circuit enables memory access to the memory circuit corresponding to the first or second timing signal in response to the memory operation end signal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
