PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multi-refill writing instrument wherein refills and spiral springs hardly come off from a refill holder. SOLUTION: The refill holder 20 applied to the multi-refill writing instrument 1 is hollowly formed. In the front side of the refill holder 20, a spring inserting hole 20f into which the rear end side of a spiral spring 5 is inserted is provided. In the rear side of the refill holder 20, a refill inserting hole 20b which communicates with the spring inserting hole 20f and in which the rear end side of the refill 2 is force-fitted is provided. Further, in the refill holder 20, a slit 41 which communicates with the refill inserting hole 20b and extends in the direction of the center axis line L is formed. In the spring surrounding part 20e of the refill holder 20, split open parts 42a, 42b which communicate with the spring inserting hole 20f and extend from the front end of the refill holder 20 in the direction of the center axis line L are formed.
