<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a compact, inexpensive and accurately working inductive multiturn encoder, whose component disk can detect and measure partial rotation. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An inductive means is used to determine the number of rotations of a rotary shaft 20 operatively connected with a module. An inductive coil includes an emitter coil and a reception coil. These coils are associated to operate for corresponding geared circular disks, and are oppositely provided to the disks.
