The invention relates to a method for operating a hybrid drive apparatus of a motor vehicle, said hybrid drive apparatus comprising at least two different drive units, i.e. an internal combustion engine as a first drive unit and a second drive unit, in particular an electric motor. The internal combustion engine has at least one cylinder that generates a cylinder moment forming at least part of the torque supplied by the internal combustion engine during normal operation of the cylinder. According to the invention, when the cylinder fails at least once, an auxiliary cylinder mode is switched on in which the cylinder is deactivated and a moment corresponding to the missing cylinder moment is essentially generated by the second drive unit. The invention further relates to a hybrid drive apparatus of a motor vehicle and an electronic control device. |
