PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processing method by which the tailing of iron ore stored in a form close to a scrap state at a mine head is reduced in transportation cost or the like, and further, and is made into a state suitable as sintering fuel. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a tailing processing method for tailing, which is high-moisture, very finely powdered into ore with an average grain diameter of 10 μm or less that is generated when wet separation is performed at a mine head. The tailing is introduced into a stirring and mixing type granulating machine as-is without undergoing a drying process, and is mixed and granulated at the mine head, and the obtained granular tailing substance is passed through a loading point and is transported to a discharge point, after which the granular tailing substance is used as sintering fuel without being dried at the discharge point either.
