The system has a central system provided for multiple users, and multiple independently driving units. A connection unit independently connects the independently driving units to the central system, where the driving units independently drive after connection. The central system is formed by a rail system that runs beside or over routes. The independently driving units are formed by electrically driven vehicles and provided with standardized interfaces which make a coupling with the central system.
