<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foundation structure reaching a support ground that can be built in an existing frame, and a method of constructing the foundation structure. <P>SOLUTION: The foundation structure of an old private house includes a plurality of steel pipe piles which after raising a frame and removing an existing foundation from the ground, are driven vertically into the ground along the side face of a pillar to reach the support ground, a binding member which connects and fastens the ground-surface exposed portions of the steel pipe piles, and a pillar footing made by molding the ground-surface exposed portions connected and fastened with the binding member. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
