RELAY DEVICE, RELAY METHOD, AND RECORDING MEDIUM

It is possible to prevent the possibility that a receiver may read a description offensive to public order and morals contained in an email.  When a payload unit of a data packet passed from a communication interface (11-2) contains an email message, a control unit (13) of a relay device (10-m) determines whether the message text part contains a character string offensive to public order and morals.  If Yes, the text part in a mail body of the original email message is encoded to generate concealed data.  The control unit (13) overwrites a concealment report character string on the text part in the original email message, generates an email message having the concealed text describing the concealed data in the content body of other part different from the text part, and transmits the message to a terminal (20-i).
