PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent authenticating precision from being deteriorated even when authentication information configured of biological information is changed in an authentication system using biological information. SOLUTION: This authentication device 10 is provided with: a biological information input part 111 for accepting the input of multiple pieces of biological information of registration candidates; a synthetic function generation part 121 for generating synthetic functions; a synthetic image generation part 122 for generating a synthetic image obtained by synthesizing the multiple pieces of biological information of the registration candidates by using the synthetic functions; a storage part 13 for storing the generated synthetic image; and a collation part 124 for, when receiving an authentication request including the synthetic image obtained by synthesizing the multiple pieces of biological information of persons to be authenticated from terminal equipment 20, collating the synthetic image with the synthetic image of the storage part 13.
