<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide mobile equipment capable of easily and appropriately transmitting image data recorded in the equipment itself to external equipment, and displaying or recording the image data on the external equipment. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In a case where communication is established during a playback mode, an under-playback transmission control section 211 determines the attitude of a camera body on the basis of a result of attitude detection by an attitude detection unit 13. In accordance with the attitude of the camera body, the under-playback transmission control section 211 then adds to data of a photographic image under playback display information indicative of a display direction in displaying the photographic image under playback on appreciation equipment 5-2 and transmits the data to a remote controller 3 while designating the appreciation equipment 5-2 as a transmission destination. Furthermore, when it is not under the playback mode, a control unit 21 transmits to the remote controller 3 data of a photographic image being recorded in a recording unit 17 while designating recording equipment 5-1 as a transmission destination.
