PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a refrigerator improved in the freshness of food while keeping structure easy in putting in and taking out the food. SOLUTION: As this refrigerator includes a door 121 for putting in and taking out food from a freezer compartment 108 as a storage compartment, a container 127 which is taken to the outside of the refrigerator body 102 when the door 121 is opened, and a refrigerant 150 disposed in the container 127, a refrigerating effect of the refrigerant can minimize an increase in the temperature of frozen food 157 which is already stored, and to rapidly cool food 158 put therein after the door 121 is opened or closed.
