<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a casing for a fuel cell, facilitating fitting of an insertion pipe and securing sealing capability. <P>SOLUTION: The casing includes an inner shell member 14 composing a housing chamber 4 for housing a fuel cell unit 2 and an outer shell member 12 arranged on the outside at prescribed intervals to the inner shell member 14. Insertion pipes 82, 84 passing through the inner shell member 14 and the outer shell member 12 and communicating with the housing chamber 4 are installed. An inside through-hole 86 through which the insertion pipes 82, 84 are inserted is formed in the inner shell member 14; and outside through-holes 90, 104 through which the insertion pipes 82, 84 are inserted is formed in the outer shell member 12. The casing furthermore includes cover plates 92, 100 fixed by welding from the outside of the outer shell member 12 and covering the outside through-holes 90, 104 from the outside, and the cover plates 92, 100 have a fitting hole 94 for inserting the insertion pipes 82, 84, and the cover plates 92, 100 are fixed to the insertion pipes 82, 84 by welding. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
