<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily achieve compatibility of an impact load with a lock-back external force. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In this wiper system, a pair of pivot holders 22, 22 freely rotatably supporting a pivot shaft are arranged in both ends of a frame, and fixed in an air box of a vehicle body. The fixing section 25 of the pivot holder 22 is divided into a first shell 26 with a first engagement section 27 on a support section 23 side, and a second shell 28 with a second engagement section 29 on a vehicle body side, and moreover, the first shell 26 and the second shell 28 are connected by engaging the first engagement section 27 with the second engagement section 29. The connection between the first engagement section 27 and the second engagement section 29 is released when the impact load of equal to or more than a prescribed value is applied to the axial direction of the pivot shaft 19, and the connection is not released by the lock-back external force applied on the pivot shaft 19. The compatibility of the impact load with the lock-back external force can be easily achieved by the connection releasing force of the first engagement section with the second engagement section.
