<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a washing machine which detects imbalance in the rear more simply and quickly, serves for determination and handling of the rear abnormal imbalance and further for execution thereof. <P>SOLUTION: On the conditions that a rotating drum 2 formed in a cylinder with a bottom is installed in a tank 3 which is elastically supported with a pivot 2a going horizontally or sloping down backward and is driven by a motor 5 in the back of the tank 3, a control means 20 determines a rear imbalance based on output signals of multidirectional oscillating components output by an oscillating sensing means 40 in the process of increasing rotation of the rotating drum 2 in dehydration operation. In this case, the rear imbalance is determined and the above purpose is accomplished when an on-peak amplitude of the output signal concerning the oscillating components of the front horizontal direction is higher than a second threshold lower than a first threshold by a predetermined amplitude. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
