<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup for a centrifuge capable of accurately positioning a cover and a container mutually. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cup 1 for a centrifuge includes a container 2 and a cover 3 equipped with a lever 4 and the lever 4 is equipped with guide elements in both end rim parts facing to each other and the guide elements are introduced into corresponding guide paths 5 of the container 2 by turning the lever 4 around. The guide elements are so formed as to apply grip force having the component force in the perpendicular direction and the component force in the horizontal direction to a contact point or a contact line of the particularly corresponding guide paths 5 of the guide elements in the state that the cover 3 closes the container 2.
