PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the costs of a Y electrode driving circuit and a power supply circuit in a plasma display panel (PDP) device. SOLUTION: The electrode driving circuit in the plasma display device includes: first and second switching elements SW1 and SW2; a scan driver including a plurality of drivers having first and second diodes D1 and D2; a capacitor C4 connected between the high potential side terminal and low potential side terminal of the scan driver; a voltage supply circuit for selectively supplying a plurality of voltages related to the voltages of positive polarity and negative polarity of a reset pulse and the voltage of a scan pulse to the low potential side terminal of the second switching element; a negative reset switch SW11 and a resistor R12 which are connected in series between the high potential side terminal of the first switching element and a ground terminal. A reset pulse of negative polarity is applied through a negative reset switch SW11 in such a state that the capacitor C4 is charged with the negative polarity voltage of the reset pulse.
