<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce cost of an operation time meter. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This operation time meter 1 is equipped with electrode plates 20 having a positive electrode 21 and a negative electrode 22, input terminals 51, 52 for applying a voltage to the electrode plates 20, and a housing 10 storing an electrolyte 60 for conducting ions to the electrode plates 20. When a voltage is input into the input terminals 51, 52 upon operation of an electrical apparatus 2, a voltage is applied to the interval between the positive and negative electrodes on the electrode plates 20, and a current flows through the electrolyte 60, and electric corrosion of the positive electrode 21 on the electrode plate 20 is progressed in company therewith, corresponding to the electrical quantity.
