<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simply analyze operational state of servers in a system without creating transaction models in advance. <P>SOLUTION: A group of message data exchanged between computers in a network system 100 is acquired. Pairs of request and response messages of the same message ID are detected from the message data group. Request and response times of each detected pair are identified. On the basis of the identified results, a search is made for child layer pairs that have request and response times between the request and response times of an arbitrary parent layer pair selected from the pair group and that have a lower layer protocol than the parent layer pair.
