The deflector (16) has a wing element for influencing a flow of air stream and a fastening unit for fastening a windshield frame. A joint mechanism is connected with the fastening unit and the wing element for moving the wing element between a parked position and a use position. The wing element has a projection which is engaged with respect to an upper surface of the wing element under an angle pointing towards the base. An independent claim is included for a cabriolet with a windshield frame for receiving a windshield.
