PURPOSE: A circuit of a plasma display panel and a driving method thereof are provided to reduce the distortion of waveform due to a voltage drop by using only the ground voltage and a positive voltage. CONSTITUTION: A driving method of the plasma display panel comprises a process of applying a voltage during a reset period in a panel capacitor, a scan period and a sustain period. A voltage applied in the reset period, the scan period and the sustain period is higher than a ground voltage. A first reset pulse and a second reset pulse are successively applied for the reset period. The first reset pulse comprises a period for applying a first voltage higher than the ground voltage, a period for increasing a voltage to a third voltage which is a result of combining the second voltage with the first voltage and a period for lowering a voltage from the third voltage to the first voltage. The second reset pulse comprises a period for increasing a voltage to the third voltage, a period for lowering a voltage from the third voltage to the first voltage and a period for lowering a voltage from the first voltage to the ground voltage. |
