PURPOSE: An efficiency test apparatus and method for hydraulic equipment are provided to check the operating state or malfunction of the hydraulic valve in the site. CONSTITUTION: A start power supply unit(110) providing start power to a hydraulic valve includes two or more supply units which supply different voltages. An input signal supply unit(20) supplies an input signal to an amplifier in order to control the operation of the hydraulic valve. A first measuring unit diagnoses the input signal inputted to the hydraulic valve and an output signal outputted from the hydraulic valve. A second measuring unit diagnoses the operating state of a hydraulic device.
