PURPOSE: A broadcast receiver and a method of upgrading firmware of the broadcast receiver are provided to automatically upgrade firmware between broadcast receivers with a Bluetooth function. CONSTITUTION: A method of upgrading firmware of a broadcast receiver comprises the following steps. A software upgrade mode is set(S401). Inquiry scan for searching an adjacent digital broadcast receiver is requested using Bluetooth communication(S402). The same device information is detected from the digital broadcast receiver by receiving an inquiry scan response. Bluetooth communication connection is requested(S410). Firmware upgrade data is transmitted to the digital broadcast receiver in the connected Bluetooth communication state. |
