<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance fuel economy by shift-controlling a shifting part while taking a change of transmission efficiency into consideration, in a vehicular drive unit provided with an electric differential part and the shifting part. <P>SOLUTION: A electronic controller 80 of the drive unit 10 provided with the differential part 11 and the automatic shifting part 20 can use a change gear ratio capable of enhancing the transmission efficiency, even when the transmission efficiency of the whole drive unit 10 is changed in accompany with the transmission efficiency of the differential part 11, that is, even when each transmission efficiency of the differential part 11 is changed in every change gear ratio of the automatic shifting part 20, since a shift point of the automatic shifting part 20 is changed based on the change of the transmission efficiency of the differential part 11 by a shift point changing means 94.
