<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic EL device capable of considerably reducing fear of snapping of an electrode pattern. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The organic EL display device 1 includes a transparent substrate 10, a first electrode pattern 14 arranged on the transparent substrate 10, an insulating pattern 16, an organic EL layer 20 arranged on the first electrode pattern 14, a second electrode pattern 22 arranged on the organic EL layer 20, and a wiring pattern 12A arranged on the transparent substrate 10 and physically and electrically connected with the second electrode pattern 22. An end of the wiring pattern 12A on a side connected with the second electrode pattern 22 has an inverse tapered shape wherein an angle with the surface of the transparent substrate 10 exceeds 90°. The end of the wiring pattern 12A of the inverse tapered shape is coated with the insulating pattern 16.
