PURPOSE: A NAND flash memory and a controlling method thereof are provided to scan only a super block address storage area and a super block to grasp all information of a file system, thereby removing a problem that mount time linearly increases. CONSTITUTION: An unmount command is received. A super block in which file system information is selected is stored by the unmount command(S210). An address related to the selected super block is saved in the selected area of a super block address storage area(S230). An address related to the selected super block is saved in a divided super block address area. The address is stored in the selected super block address page.
