FIELD: medicine. ^ SUBSTANCE: invention refers to medical equipment, namely to a fixator of an epidural catheter or a similar drainage catheter to the skin surface of a patient or an individual. The catheter fixator to the skin surface of an individual comprises a bottom film, the first adhesive coating, the first layer pad, the second adhesive coating and the second layer pad. The bottom film is made of sheeting and has the opposite first and second surfaces limiting the first end. The first adhesive coating covers the specified first surface of the specified bottom film. The first layer pad is to be laid at a puncture point and forms a convex edge surface having a radius of curvature, at least by one order of magnitude greater than the external diametre of the catheter. The edge surface forms a seat that bears the catheter contacting thereto with its external surface, to arrange the catheter in a loop and turn it from the direction almost perpendicular relative to said skin surface to the direction almost parallel to said skin surface, and to prevent the catheter from sliding along the edge surface. The first layer pad is connected with bottom film and supported thereby on the first surface of the bottom film. The second adhesive coating partially covers the second surface of the bottom film under the first layer pad to form a straight interface of the adhesive coating that specifies a bend line for bending the bottom film on the first layer pad in a certain position relative thereto and closing the first layer pad, and for placing the first surface of the bottom film so that it is turned to the first layer pad to be glued to the skin surface, for fixing the catheter relative to the first layer pad and for closing of the puncture point. The second layer pad is connected with the bottom film and supported thereby, and adjoins the first layer pad for creating a narrow spot together with the first layer pad with its width being a little bit smaller than the external diametre of the catheter, for retaining the catheter in the specified narrow spot after being introduced. The second layer pad is elongated and has an essentially straight wall providing catheter fixation therealong. ^ EFFECT: enabled more convenient catheter manipulation and avoided jerk force to the catheter expectative during catheter introduction procedure or in sharp reposition of a patient's body. ^ 13 cl, 5 dwg, 1 ex |
