PURPOSE: A crawler bush and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve abrasion resistance and strength, reduce manufacture cost, and obtain oil sealing property. CONSTITUTION: A crawler bush(5) comprises: a quenching hardening layer which is made of carbon steel or low alloy steel and is formed on the outer circumference or the outer circumference and the inner circumference; and both end surfaces in which a soft layer is formed on the inner circumference or between an outer circumference hardening layer and an inner circumference hardening layer and which is handed by a high-frequency quenching method. The soft layer is connected to the outer circumference or the outer circumference and the inner circumference of the crawler bush.
