PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To continue backup even when one storage device stops. SOLUTION: This computer system is characterized in that a first storage device stores, when a writing request of data to a first storage region is received, the data to the first storage region and a second storage region, further transmits the data to the second storage device, the second storage device store the received data to a third storage region and a fourth storage region, the first storage device interrupts, when a snapshot creation request is received, storage of the data to the second storage region, the second storage device interrupts, when the snapshot creation request is received, storage of the data to the fourth storage region in timing that the same piece of data is stored in the second storage region and the fourth storage region, and after storage of the data is interrupted, transmits the same identifier as that of the second storage region to a transmitting source of an inquiry as an identifier of the fourth storage region.
