<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cooling device which obtains boil promotion effect even under a vacuum boiling condition with enormously enlarged bubbles of a boiled coolant, and improves bubble exhausting property from a heat transfer surface and a liquid-phase coolant. <P>SOLUTION: A region corresponding to a heating element fixing surface 320 on an inner surface 33 of a bottom wall 31 of a coolant tub 3 is set to be a boiling heat transfer surface 34 for promoting the boiling of the liquid-phase coolant. A fin 35 for standing up from the boiling heat transfer surface 34, having a top surface 350, and increasing a heat transfer area of the boiling heat transfer surface 34 is placed on the boiling heat transfer surface 34. A groove 36 for promoting boil of the liquid-phase coolant at the top surface 350 is formed on the top surface 350 having the highest height from the boiling heat transfer surface 34 on the fin 35. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
