<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a task to search for a photographic subject image with high degree of face expression and retrieve it easy. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A face expression evaluation part 23 detects a predefined face expression of a subject person in a subject image, compares the face expression of the subject person with face expression level data, and generates an evaluation signal when the degree of the face expression is equal to or higher than an expression level value configured through a face expression level setup part 27. An image storage designator part 30 generates an instruction signal to store the subject image containing the face expression of equal to or more than the expression level value into a predefined folder pre-placed in an image recording part 16 according to the evaluation signal.
