<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce the dimensions of a receiving part of a vertical frame, e.g., the depth of a horizontal recess (the depth of a notch). Ž<P>SOLUTION: This lock receiving implement comprises: a strike box with a square case part fitted into a receiving part of the vertical frame; a lock piece receiving body fitted into the strike box; and a front face mounting plate for regulating the lock piece receiving body fixedly into the case part. The lock receiving implement is formed with first position displacement regulating means engaged with a horizontal sidewall of the case part and with the vertical end of the lock piece receiving body, and second position displacement regulating means engaged with right and left facing vertical sidewalls orthogonal to a vertical bottom wall corresponding to the inner part of the case part and with right and left vertical engaging walls of the lock piece receiving body.
