PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a combustion device having high durability to impact shock by improving the combustion device. SOLUTION: A water heater is packaged by being put in a box such as a corrugated box 106, and placing a cushioning material such as foamed polystyrene 108 between the box 106 and a casing 2. A can body structural section 9 is firmly adhered to a back side wall 72 of the casing 2. The back side wall 72 of the casing 2 is integrated with an air supply flow channel forming member 11. The inside of the air supply flow channel forming member 11 is hollow, and has high section modulus. Two leg sections 60 are disposed on a burner section 6 constituting the can body structural section 9, and tips of the leg sections 60 are placed on a step forming member 51 formed on a surface side of the air supply flow channel forming member 11. Vertical sections 62 of the leg sections 60 are kept into contact with the surface side of the air supply flow channel forming member 11, and tapping screws are respectively inserted between them to connect both.
