PURPOSE: A display device and an electronic device thereof are provided to perform a display operation and a reading operation using source drivers, thereby realizing fastness of a touch panel. CONSTITUTION: A controller board(115) is composed by an controller IC(116). The control board is electrically connected to a display panel(101). Pixels(120) are composed of display units and reading units. The display units perform a display operation by one of a gate driver for display and source drivers. The reading units perform a reading operation by one of a gate driver for reading and the source drivers.
