<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display with an electrostatic capacitive coupling-type touch panel which allows finger touch input and has a high reliability and is superior in detection sensitivity. <P>SOLUTION: An electrode formed in the electrostatic capacitive coupling-type touch panel is divided in accordance with a ratio of the number of X electrodes to the number of Y electrodes, and floating electrodes are formed in spaces generated due to the reduction in area to adjust the area of the electrode. Since a noise level can be reduced more than the reduction of signal level by the reduction in area of individual electrodes, S/N ratio can be increased and the detection sensitivity can be improved. In addition, wires are branched on a flexible printed circuit board, and crossing wires are provided on the rear side of the flexible printed circuit board so as to orthogonally cross the wires formed on the front side, whereby the wire capacitance is reduced. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
