PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify a shape of a roof lining, and to temporarily hold the roof lining at a vehicle body side without fail. SOLUTION: A roof lining temporary holding structure is configured so that a temporary holding piece 21 is provided at an end of the roof lining 15 provided in a cabin 12, a temporary holding base 41 for holding the temporary holding piece 21 is provided in the cabin 12 of a roof panel 13 and the temporary holding piece 21 is placed on the temporary holding base 41 to temporarily hold the roof lining 15. In the roof lining temporary holding structure, the temporary holding piece 21 is formed with an engagement hole 35, the temporary holding base 41 is formed with an upward engagement protrusion 55 and the upward engagement protrusion 55 is engaged with the engagement hole 35.
