<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an engine that improves the efficiency of combustion without making a top surface of a combustion chamber higher than necessary height, even if an injector for cylinder direct injection is disposed in a cylinder including three intake valves. <P>SOLUTION: The engine 10 has the three intake valves 16, 17, 18 disposed in one cylinder in a row, and has injectors 23, 24 for cylinder direct injection disposed therein.
