<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a top plate for a cooker, which keeps a heat-resistant resin layer from deteriorating even if the top plate is heated to high temperatures, thus preventing a sensor from being stained by an adhesive, and maintaining a good appearance. <P>SOLUTION: The top plate (1) is used for a cooker having an electromagnetic heating device. A porous light-blocking layer (3) comprising an inorganic pigment and glass is formed on the surface of a low-expansion transparent crystallized glass plate (2). A heat-resistant resin layer (4) is formed at least on the electromagnetic heating portion of the light-blocking layer.
