<p>Adhesion between a conductive polymer film and a solid electrolyte film is improved to secure the motion of a conductive-polymer actuator of the bending motion type. A conductive-polymer actuator of the bending type is provided which has a multilayer structure comprising: a solid electrolyte film made of a mixture of a first organic polymer comprising at least one of a vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropylene copolymer, polyvinylidene fluoride, perfluorosulfonic acid/PTFE copolymer, polymethyl methacrylate, polyethylene oxide, and polyacrylonitrile and an ionic liquid; and a conductive polymer film disposed on at least one side of the solid electrolyte film and made of a mixture of polyethylene dihydroxythiophene and polystyrenesulfonic acid. It is characterized in that the conductive polymer film contains a second organic polymer comprising a vinylidene fluoride/hexafluoropropylene copolymer, the second organic polymer being embedded in a dispersed state in a surface of the film.</p> |
