The device has a cooking hob (5) and a cooking appliance (4) e.g. microwave cooking appliance, with a cooking compartment (45), which are stacked in a fitted-furniture (2). Dimensions of the cooking hob and of the cooking appliance are designed so that the cooking hob and the cooking appliance are designed in standard installation dimensions (b1, h1, 3), which are formed for a cook equipment in the fitted-furniture. A chimney i.e. circulating air-chimney, is arranged in the fitted-furniture in the installation dimensions of the cooking appliance.
