<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately perform leakage detection of a liquefied gas and to prevent the retention of leaked liquefied gas. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The liquefied gas leakage detection device 10 is configured of a pipe conduit 20, a gap space 30 formed on the outer circumference of the pipe conduit 20, a cylinder shaped cover 40 formed on the outer circumference side of the gap space 30, a detection body 50 changing the electric resistance in accordance with the presence or absence of the leakage of the liquefied gas in the gap space 30, an exhaust passage 60 for exhausting the liquefied gas formed in the gap space 30 and leaked to the outer circumference of the pipe conduit 20, and a leakage detector 70 for judging the presence or absence of the liquefied gas leakage based on the detection signal from the detection body 50. The leakage detector 70 is monitoring the difference of potential between a pair of electrodes 80, 81, and judges the presence or absence of the leakage of the liquefied gas by detecting the variation of the resistance value of the detection body 50 from the variation of the voltage value.
