<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cup, preventing the respective outer walls from coming into contact with each other when two or more cups are piled on one the other to thereby prevent the outer walls from being damaged or broken. <P>SOLUTION: This cup 10 includes a disc-like bottom 11, an outer wall 12 raised from the outer peripheral edge 11a of the bottom 11, and an engaging projection 13 raised from the inner peripheral edge 11b of the bottom 11. The outer wall 12 is formed cylindrical like a truncated cone, which is gradually increased in diameter as it goes toward the upper position, and the engaging projection 13 is formed cylindrical like a truncated cone, which is gradually decreased in diameter as it goes toward the upper position. The thickness t3 of the engaging projection 13 is set smaller than that t1 of the bottom 11, and larger than that t2 of the outer wall 12. The angle β of inclination of the engaging projection 13 is set larger than that α of the outer wall 12. Therefore, when two cups 10, 10 are piled on one on the other with the respective engaging projections 13, 13 engaged with each other, a gap G is formed between the respective outer walls 12, 12 so that the cups do not come into contact with each other. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
