INVERTER DEVICE OF WASHING MACHINE

摘要

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an inverter device of a washing machine for easily controlling an exciting current with a simple configuration when using a permanent magnet motor for changing the amount of magnetization of a rotor magnet.

SOLUTION: When a drum motor 11 includes a rotor magnet provided with a neodymium magnet and an alnico magnet on the side of the rotor, the inverter device of the washing machine includes: a comparator 106 for comparing an electric current flowing via an inverter circuit 32 with a detection threshold so as to detect an over-current; and a control circuit 30 for generating the exciting current in such a manner as to change the amount of magnetization of the alnico magnet via the inverter circuit 32. When the exciting current is made to flow, the threshold to be set in the comparator 106 is changed to be a current limiting threshold being larger than the threshold for over-current detection, thereby attaining usage as exciting current limiting means.
