<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To further reduce the running cost by reducing the quantity of rinsing liquid to be used. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The washing machine includes a washing shower arm and a rinsing shower arm. The washing shower arm is rotatably attached to a rotating shaft provided within a washing compartment. The washing shower arm sprays washing liquid from a washing nozzle toward a target and rotates as a reaction from spraying of the washing liquid. The rinsing shower arm is disposed closer to the target than the washing shower arm in the rotating shaft. The rinsing shower arm sprays the rinsing liquid from a rinsing nozzle toward the target for washing, and rotates as a reaction from spraying of the rinsing liquid. The rinsing shower arm includes a first and/or second member rinsing nozzle for spraying the rinsing liquid toward the washing nozzle and/or the ceiling of the washing compartment.
