<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance the rigidity of an electric automobile while reducing the weight thereof, and to enhance the collision-resistant performance of a battery mounted to the electric automobile. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This structure for mounting the battery to the electric automobile includes: vehicle body members 11, 12 forming a vehicle body of the electric automobile 10; a resin battery case 13 with the built-in battery; metal supporting members 61A-61D fixed to a bottom surface of the battery case 13; a metal frame 32 embedded in a wall of the battery case 13; and impact-resistant members 63A-63B, 66A-66D connected to the wall in which the supporting members 61A-61D and the metal frame 32 are embedded, and connected to the vehicle body members 11, 12.
