<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display provided with a thin film transistor capable of reducing an off-leak current without increasing an occupied area. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The display includes the thin film transistor in a substrate formed with a display part, the thin film transistor includes a gate electrode, a gate insulating film GI formed coating the gate electrode, a semiconductor layer AS formed astride the gate electrode on an upper face of the gate insulating film, an insulating film formed coating the semiconductor layer, and a pair of electrodes connected electrically to the semiconductor layer respectively through a pair of through-holes TH1, TH2 formed in a portion overlapped with the gate electrode on the upper face of the insulating film, and each of the paired electrodes is constituted of a sequentially layered body of a semiconductor layer doped with an impurity and a metal layer.
