<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a torque control device for an onboard power generator, properly suppressing degradation in driveability even if both acceleration operation and brake operation are determined to be performed. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When both the acceleration operation and brake operation are determined to be performed based on the output values of an accelerator sensor 64 and a stop lamp switch 60, torque of an engine 10 is reduced based on brake pedal force calculated based on pressure of the vacuum chamber 46a of a master bag 46 and brake hydraulic pressure.
