<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image forming device which can reduce its size and cost while securing the precise alignment between the fixing unit and the reversing means and raise its productivity at reversing operation. <P>SOLUTION: The holder of the reversing means is integrally connected rotatably to the fixing unit through a linkage. The fixing unit is attachable and detachable to the image forming device together with the reversing means. The fixing unit and the reversing means have their own positioning means in the image forming device.
