PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an imaging device, forming a multi-stage collapsible lens barrel freely setting a delivery amount of a lens barrel. SOLUTION: This imaging device includes: a first intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 32, in which the rotation around the optical axis is regulated; a first intermediate rotary cylinder 31 fitted to the first intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 32 to rotate; and a second intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 42 guided linearly by the first intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 32. The device also includes a second intermediate rotary cylinder 41 fitted to the second intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 42 and rotated in engagement with the first intermediate rotary cylinder 31. The inner surface of the first intermediate rectilinear advance cylinder 32 has a cam groove 32c engaged with the second intermediate rotary cylinder 41 to control the travel in the optical axis direction of the second intermediate rotary cylinder 41.
