<p>The container is made of a thin resin sheath which is biodegradable. The base of the sheath is slightly thicker than the walls, which are thin enough to be pulled apart to permit the removal of the soil ball intact. The base is formed with a series of parallel grooves and ridges on which the soil ball rests. The spaces between the ridges permit the aeration of the soil and provide a volume into which the roots can project.</p> |
